Patterson River Secondary College offers a wide range of sports to all students across the year levels.
- Year 7 and 8 students participate in Sport
- Year 9 and 10 students are part of Intermediate sport
- Year 11 and 12 students are Senior Sport competitors
- All groups have a round robin format competition, which leads into Southern Zone and State Finals.
The College is part of the strong Northern District and competes against the other local schools on a regular basis.

With access to excellent local facilities, students can also participate in gymnastics, lifesaving, martial arts, circuit training, kayaking and sailing as part of the PE/Sport curriculum.
