Junior School

In Year 7 and 8, students study a core curriculum that exposes them to all Key Learning Areas. The Junior School curriculum is one that offers a wide variety of subjects to students, in a nurtured traditional schooling environment.

Year 7 Curriculum

Students partake in several year length subjects, including:

  • English
  • MathematicsJunior School Page
  • Science
  • Humanities (History & Geography)
  • PE
  • LOTE (German or Learning Support)
  • Learning for Me (Pastoral Care)
  • Visual Arts (ceramics, print making, drawing textiles, visual communication)
  • Design & Technology (wood, metal, plastics,)
  • Sport

Students also participate in some subjects on a semester length basis, including:

  • Information Technology
  • Food & Nutrition
  • Music
  • Drama

Students also have the opportunity to elect to study a musical instrument, which requires a time commitment of 1 period per week.
